Instead of using 'Emoticons' or "largish bandwidth-wasting panel jokes" and
still wanting something otherworldly-ish, we were reminded of pointless and marginal cartoons and brain-twisting literals
featured in both 'Mad©' and 'Cracked©' magazines
of the mid-seventies. We decided to try create 'marginal animations' assets for
the practical experience with various editors as much as for the output.
Thus after considering file-size and load-time, which in turn
determined an optimal 'display size', we found that our " ...not wanting to advertise
produce or promote 'established' sophist ideologies... " policy prevented us from using any other content but our site name.
Unfortunately, even though we tried for the contrary (a small peripheral amusement), it looks like, smells like and has now become just blatent self-promotion.
This page is the whole collection so far - So (depending on your connection
speed) it may take a while to get them all up and running, go make refreshments; it won't be
too long... |
